Welcome to De’Rielle Cosmetology Academy, a non-denominational Christian academy serving the central Pennsylvania community since 1991.
De’Rielle Cosmetology Academy was founded by Debra Eckstine-Weidner as De’Rielle Designworks Academy, as a training academy for her local chain of salons. After opening over 50 salons and other businesses during her 37 years in the industry, Debbie offers the knowledge and experience to guide her students to success!
Today, De’Rielle welcomes students from all ages and walks of life. In addition to providing cosmetology, esthetics and nail courses for students to prepare them for Pennsylvania State Board testing, it operates a student-serviced salon open to the public to give students valuable real-life experience.
With a 95% retention rate and %100 pass rate for Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology testing, no other academy in Central Pennsylvania has matched our records. With small classes of 15-25 students, our extensively experienced staff is able to devote time and attention to each students needs, helping all students to grow in their skills and talents. Our instructors have experience in all areas of the beauty industry, including cosmetology, nails, esthetics, salon management, salon ownership, magazine work and more.
At De’Rielle, we are accredited for growth by Middle States Association (an accreditation agency for Christian and vocational schools in the northeast). With flexible payment options and part time or full time schedules available, we make it easy to attend and follow through with your education. As we are determined to help our students succeed we also offer job placement assistance.
Most importantly, De’Rielle offers a place for those interested in the beauty industry to grow their passion in Christ through His Word, His timing and fellowship with each other and our community. With daily Bible study and prayer requests, we start our days at De’Rielle on God’s track. Many students gain lifelong friendships and mentors, and many, many hearts are changed within these walls while doing God’s work and following His path for our lives.
