Cosmetology-1250 Hours

Included in the full cosmetology course are the fundamentals of haircutting, finish styling, permanent waving and relaxers, haircoloring using Italy Color, braiding and formal updos; included are our nail and esthetics courses. All practical work required during this course is meant to extensively prepare the student for PA State Board testing and licensing.

We offer all of these service to the public through our student-serviced and operated salon.

Esthetics-400 Hours

Using Biodroga products, included in the esthetics program is skin care (facials and back facials), waxing, make-up and eyebrow tinting. All practical work required during this course is meant to extensively prepare the student for PA State Board testing and licensing.

All subjects studied in this course are offered to the public through our student-serviced and operated salon.

Nail Technician-300 Hours

Subjects studied include artificial (acrylic and gel acrylic) nails, nail enhancements (nail art) and natural nail manicures and pedicures, using Nailogic products. All practical work required during this course is meant to extensively prepare the student for PA State Board testing and licensing.

All subjects studied in this course are offered to the public through our student-serviced and operated salon.

Cosmetology Teacher-600 Hours

For licensed cosmetologist, nail techs and estheticians , this course offers the fundamentals of teaching  to a wide array of students. 500 hours of this course is devoted to textbook learning, practical requirements and testing. The remaining 100 hours is spent reviewing and preparing for PA State Board testing and licensing.

*After retaining extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of the cosmetology industry, Debbie Eckstine-Weidner, owner of De’Rielle Cosmetology Academy, is honored to be a text book reviewer for 7 of the  Milady Standard Textbooks.

Additional Information

We offer professional education opportunities with products utilized at De’Rielle, including Nailogic, Italy Haircolor, Biodroga skincare, Depileve wax and more. We also offer the opportunity for all students to participate in industry trade shows and conferences, product demonstrations, community volunteering, and field trips for personal growth.

• Classes begin on the first Wednesdays of  January, March, May, July, September and November and maybe subject to change due to Holidays.
• We offer full time (8 am to 4:30 pm) and part time (8 am-12 pm) hours for your convenience. Note: During summer months, the school is closed on Fridays and classes/services are limited to Mon-Thurs. from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. 
• We require a uniform of modest black and white professional attire and footwear. We provide a smock to protect clothing.
• Between 8:30-9:00 am, we offer prayer requests, Bible study, devotionals and classes for personal growth in order to grow in our faith and fellowship with one another.
• We offer flexible financing options, including payment during attendance, OVR payments, SEC and GI Bill funding, including the opportunity for scholarships for perfect attendance.
